BS IEC 60313:2002 pertains to coaxial connectors designed for electrical instruments utilized in nuclear laboratories. Although these connectors are especially beneficial for such applications, they can also be applicable in other contexts. However, this standard may not be suitable for nuclear power installations, where specific requirements might require the use of alternative connectors, some of which (such as types N and TNC) are detailed in various sections of IEC 60169.
