ISO 14373:2024 establishes the requirements for resistance spot welding in the production of assemblies made from uncoated and metallic-coated, or weldable non-metallic-coated low-carbon steel. This includes configurations of two or three metal sheets, with a maximum single-sheet thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 3.0 mm.
The document applies to the welding of sheets that may have the same or different thicknesses, provided the thickness ratio does not exceed 3:1.
