This Itemational Standard specifies a method for the preparation, marking and measuring of textile fabrics,garments and fabric assembles for use in tests for assessing dimensional change after a spetifled treatment,e.g. washing, dry cleaning, soaking in water and steaming, fllwing the procedures in ISO 3005, IS0 7771,ISO 6330, ISO 3175 or ISO 15797. This Interational Standard is applicable to wowen and knitted fabrics, and made-up textile aricles, The procedures are no applicable to certain upholstery coverings.
