This section of IEC 60603-7 addresses 8-way unshielded free and fixed connectors, with the aim of defining the standard dimensions, mechanical, electrical, and environmental attributes, as well as the relevant tests for the IEC 60603-7-x connector series.
These connectors are designed to be intermateable (compliant with IEC 61076-1, Level 2) and are compatible for use with other connectors within the IEC 60603-7 series.
