This Standard specifies the training activities and competencies required for training and certification of dive supervisors for occupational diving operations using self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA) and surface-supplied underwater breathing apparatus (SSBA).
This Standard specifies the training and competencies required for the following three levels of supervisor qualifications:
(a) Occupational dive supervisor for SCUBA diving.
(b) Occupational dive supervisor for no-decompression dives on SSBA.
(c) Occupational dive supervisor for unrestricted SSBA air diving.
