This section of ISO/IEC 29109 sets forth test assertions for the structure of both signature/sign time series data formats as defined in ISO/IEC 19794-7 (classified as Type A Level 1 according to ISO/IEC 29109-1), test assertions for internal consistency by verifying the types of values that can be present in each field (classified as Type A Level 2 according to ISO/IEC 29109-1), and test assertions regarding the content of data records within the signature/sign time series data formats as specified in ISO/IEC 19794-7 (classified as Type A Level 3 according to ISO/IEC 29109-1).
It is important to note that this part of ISO/IEC 29109 does not encompass tests for other attributes of biometric products or other forms of testing for biometric products (such as acceptance, performance, robustness, and security), nor does it include tests for the compliance of systems that do not generate ISO/IEC 19794-7 records.
