This section of IEC 60512 is utilized for testing electromechanical components as specified by the detail specification, within the framework of IEC Technical Committee 48. This test may also be applicable to similar devices when indicated in a detail specification.
The purpose of this test is to establish a standard method for measuring the electrical resistance across a pair of mated contacts or between a contact and a measuring gauge.
